Researching family history

1. National Archives bookshop.  This bookshop offers books providing information to help with family history research.

These books cover a range of topics, from beginning your family history research, to more specific topics.  For example, in FindMyPast’s 100in100 they had added a number of records collections for the PALS battalions – the National Archives bookshop also includes books telling the history of these battalions.

2. Cyndi’s list is a cross-referenced list of resources for family history research around the world.  This list contains links to sites that may have records for your ancestors, as well as guides to researching family history and organising your research
