162 John McAish
163 Jean Cumming
There are no parish registers for Dallas prior to 1742, so I have been unable to find a baptism record for John. The earliest record found is that of his marriage to Jean Cumming on 31 January 1751 at Dallas. John and Jean had 4 other children, besides Janet:
- Margaret christened 28 October 1751 at Dallas
- Alexander christened in September 1753 at Dallas
- Robert christened 6 December 1754 at Dallas
- Elizabeth christened 29 May 1761 at Dallas.
Due to the gap in ages between Robert and Elizabeth, they may have had other children.
