William Peter Marr was the son of Alexander William Marr and Edith Selina Emma Murton. Until finding these articles on Trove, I didn’t have any information about any other children of Alexander and Edith – now I knew they had an older son James Alexander Marr, and a daughter Thelma, who had married Cecil Sampey.

Alexander William Marr was the son of Peter Marr and Harriet Rebecca Gregory.  Peter was my great grandfather’s brother.
