Trove Tuesday – Dies after struck by football

For this week’s Trove Tuesday, I am sharing articles about the death of Frank Atkinson Gordon, who died after being struck by a football.

Frank Atkinson Gordon was the son of Frank Howard Gordon and Annie Atkinson.  Frank Howard Gordon was the son of Andrew Gordon and Eliza Whimpey.  Eliza was the daughter of John Whimpey (1816-1895). John was the brother of my 2x great grandfather, Joseph Whimpey (1819-1902).
