Trove Tuesday – Geoffrey Roy Whimpey

This week, I decided to take a break from my Marr family, and decided to look for some articles I haven’t yet shared for my Whimpey family, and I came across some poems written by my dad’s cousin, Geoff Whimpey.

Geoffrey Roy Whimpey was the son of Albert Roy Whimpey and Phyllis Walsh. He was born 30 November 1920 at Brunswick North, and killed in action in World War II, on 5 July 1944.  Albert Roy Whimpey was the brother of my grandfather, John Ernest Whimpey.
