Trove Tuesday

Trove Tuesday – Harry Docwra

This week I am featuring articles about my great grandfather Harry Docwra.

This first article wishes Harry Docwra a pleasant holiday.

In this next article, Harry came second in a shooting competition.

Newspaper articles may also mention what presents were given/received at a wedding.

The following is Harry’s probate notice.

I found the above articles using Harry Docwra, and then H Docwra, in my search. Since I didn’t find a death notice, I decided to use just the surname Docwra, and to limit my search to the Frankston and Somerville Standard.  I found his obituary under the name Henry Docwra.
