This week I am featuring articles for my ex-husband’s 2x great grandmother, Louisa Mulder, nee House.
Last week I featured articles for her husband, Thomas Mulder, who owned the Duke of York hotel in Humffray street. This first article gives some more information about Thomas and Louisa.

The next article I found was for the sale of Louisa’s household effects after she died.

The advertisement also appeared in The Age on the 30 October 1879 (Advertising (1879, October 30). The Age (Melbourne, Vic. : 1854 – 1954), p. 4 http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article199368409), and in The Argus on 31 October 1879 (Advertising (1879, October 31). The Argus (Melbourne, Vic. : 1848 – 1957), p. 2. http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article5961516)
Louisa was the sole executrix of her husband’s will.
