United States Censuses and Voter lists

Over the last two weeks, I prepared posts about the United States Federal Censuses, and the State census collections for the states from Alabama to Florida.

Since the comparisons didn’t show up very well on my blog, I attached Excel files to each post. This week, I’ve decided to just attached an Excel file that gives a run down on all the census collections on each of the four main sites: Ancestry, FamilySearch, FindMyPast and MyHeritage.

I have attached 3 spreadsheets:
One with just the Federal Censuses

US Federal Censuses

One with the other censuses and voter lists

United States Other Census and Voter lists

And the third with all the censuses and voter lists

I have also attached them as PDF files

Ancestry has the most collections, and there are also a large number available for free on FamilySearch. FindMyPast and MyHeritage do seem to have a few unique collections, but since there are so many collections in this category, I haven’t gone into the details of the collections, to see if they are actually part of a larger collection at Ancestry.
