Sunday Afternoon Genealogy Fun – Your 2020 Plans/Goals/Resolutions for Your Genealogy Research

Each week on Randy Seaver’s Genea-musings blog he has a post for Saturday night Genealogy fun. Because of the time difference, I have called my series Sunday Afternoon Genealogy Fun. This week’s mission was:
1)  It’s the New Year, and many readers have already made resolutions, or goals, or plans for one or more tasks or projects.  Or they haven’t yet, but could or should.

2)  For this SNGF, please tell us what plans you’ve made, or what goals you’ve stated, or what resolutions you’ve averred for 2020.  Writing them down may help you achieve them.  Do one or more as you wish.

3)  Put it in your own blog post, in a comment to this post, or in a Facebook post.  Please leave a link on this post so readers can find your resolutions/goals/plans.

Because I had so many months with limited access to the internet, I haven’t been blogging. My aim for the New Year is to get back into the swing of writing blog posts, hopefully at least one a day.

Over the last few years, I have made a few attempts at a genealogy do-over, and keep restarting all the time for various reasons.  This year I hope to finally get that more organised.  The New Year looks promising, because I had already got my previous research sorted and most of it indexed (I haven’t yet indexed my old research notes), and I am now in the process of entering this information into Legacy Family Tree, as well as doing research for each person as I go.  My Heritage offered 75% off, so I have a subscription there as well. I am therefore also looking at those hints while I am adding the people to my tree.
